ProviderPal is our EVV and visit-management system. Every visit must be clocked in and out through ProviderPal so it’s documented and compliant.

Why EVV matters

Minnesota requires Electronic Visit Verification for PCA, CFSS, and home care services. ProviderPal sends your visit data to HHAeXchange (Minnesota state EVV aggregator), capturing the six required points: who received care, who provided it, the service, the location, the date, and the start/end time. Accurate clock-in/out protects you, the client, and the agency — and makes sure you get paid.

How to clock in & out

  1. 1 Open the ProviderPal app (or website) and sign in with your credentials.
  2. 2 Select the client and the scheduled visit you’re starting.
  3. 3 Tap “Clock In” at the client’s home — this captures the time and location.
  4. 4 Provide care and complete any required visit notes or tasks.
  5. 5 Tap “Clock Out” when the visit ends, then confirm and submit.

Trouble logging in or clocking a visit? Contact the office right away at 612-333-1690 — never leave a visit unrecorded.

Payroll & timesheets

Your hours flow from ProviderPal into payroll — so accurate clock-in/out is your timesheet. Submit any corrections before the pay-period deadline. Contact the office for pay dates, pay stubs, or direct-deposit changes.
